The RCR-28 iPod/iPhone lightning dock plays and charges your iPod (5th generation) or iPhone 5/5s/5c, 6/6 Plus, and 6s/6s Plus. If you have an Android or other USB device you can charge it using the USB jack on the back of the unit. So when you wake up, your device will have a full charge as you head out the door. (Note: you cannot listen to the AM band while charging your device.)
Don't be fooled by its size. The RCR-28 is a compact system that takes up minimal space on your desk or night stand, but packs a powerful punch with 2 side-firing speakers that helps this unit deliver stereo sound beyond its size.
The auxiliary input and line out jack allow you to connect external devices like MP3 players, CD players, or Android devices to the rear auxiliary input for listening enjoyment.
The worry-free backup battery keeps your radio pre-sets and alarm settings stored in case of a power outage. The backup battery will also activate the alarm (if set) during a power outage.
With the RCR-28 you can wake to your docked iPod or iPhone, AM/FM radio, or a classic buzzer. Whichever you choose, a gradual alarm feature called HWS (Humane Wake System) gently raises the alarm volume. Dual alarms let you set separate wake times for the day and you can wake to the playlist or song of your choice on your iPod/iPhone.
